Gail Ellen Diamond's Obituary
Gail Ellen Diamond of Millersville, MD died at the Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis, MD on Thursday, March 31, 2011. She was 57.
Born March 13, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the Warren and Dorothy Coffill Ballenberger. She was a graduate of Montgomery Blair High School in the Class of 1972 and in 1980 she was a graduate of the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore. On September 4, 1984 she married Howard Scott Diamond and they made their home in Bowie from 1984 - 1993 when they moved to Millersville.
She especially enjoyed gardening, decorating and working around her home, animals, antiquing, traveling and sightseeing. She had a very special concern for her family. They always came first and she worried about them all the time.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two children, Jessica Michelle Diamond and Gregory Prescott Diamond of Millersville, MD; and one sister, Eileen Trueblood of Smithsburg, MD. In addition to her father, she is predeceased by one brother, Warren Ballenberger.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Lasting Tributes Cremation and Funeral Care, P.A. 814 Bestgate Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401. Family and friends may call to the funeral home on Friday, April 8, 2011 between the hours of 5PM and 8PM. Burial will be at Bestgate Memorial Park immediately following funeral services.
