I was so fortunate to have grown up next to Fed and Christel. Along with their beautiful dogs, esp. Duke, life in Bowie, Maryland was wonderful. I was so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you Chris-wish our homes were in a closer proximity!

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of my dear friend Mr. Crupe. I have the fondest memories of him being my "go-to" teacher when I needed a substitute at St. Mary's High School in Annapolis. Mr. Crupe was by far the most professional person to step up when I needed him. I could always be assured that the classes he taught would never miss a beat in my absence. Most important, Mr. Crupe became a trusted friend and confidant over the years.

I had the pleasure and good fortune to work with Fred during our years at the U.S.Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration. He was highly respected by all for his integrity, knowledge, and good judgment. My respects to his family from a good friend who has lost his wife of 62 years' journey through life.
