Frank Joseph Vispo's Obituary
Frank “The Fiddler” Vispo passed away, at the age of 83, on October 11, 2020.
He was born to Mary and Frank Vispo in Atlantic City, New Jersey on November 11, 1936. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 41 years, Anne Vispo. He is survived by his daughter Rachel Kidwell, son-in-law Jeff Kidwell, grandchildren Cody Kidwell and Madison Kidwell and many dear friends.
Frank grew up in Pleasantville, New Jersey. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1955 and served for 4 years. He went on to become a computer engineer and worked for the U.S. Naval Research Lab for many years. His true passion, though, was for music. Frank was a talented fiddle player. He touched the lives of many through his joy of music and his humble and kind nature. He will be missed greatly, but he is surely now playing the fiddle for all in heaven.
A music memorial will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity Hungry for Music.
