Frances Warner Ransone's Obituary
Frances Warner Ransone, 90, of Hilliard, OH passed away on August 25, 2024.
Frances was born November 29, 1933, to Richard and Katherine Warner in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan College where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She married Morris A. Ransone, Jr., on December 30, 1954. They made their home in the Annapolis, Maryland, area where she worked as a microbiologist at Anne Arundel Medical Center for more than 20 year
She was a loving mother, cherished wife and loyal friend. She enjoyed time with friends and family. She especially enjoyed learning about animals and watching them thrive in their natural habitat. Frances was a fierce competitor in Bridge, Chinese Checkers, and all card and board games. Her passion for games was only surpassed by her love of chocolate and most of all, her love for family.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother: Huber Warner. She is survived by her three sons, Clay Toler Ransone (Pam Ransone and son, Warner Ransone); Timothy Alexander Ransone, Sr. (Anne Ransone and children, Timothy Ransone, Jr., Emily Rudman and Jonathan Ransone); and Jeremy Warner Ransone (Kristin Ransone and children, Mary Katherine Ransone, William Ransone, and Alexander Ransone). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren: Brooks Ransone, Jay Rudman, Jr., and Lainey Ransone.
A family visitation will take place on Friday, September 13 at FHN Chester, 106 Shamrock Road, Chester MD 21619 from 4-5 pm. A graveside service will begin at 12 pm on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery in Buchanan, Virginia.
