Frances Kennedy Page's Obituary
Frances Kennedy Page was born April 23, 1919 in Girard, Ohio and moved with her family to Baltimore as a child. She graduated from Eastern High School in Baltimore in 1935 and worked for Montgomery Wards and General Motors Aircraft prior to her marriage to F. Thomas Page in 1947.
The Pages raised their four children in Catonsville, with summers spent on Stoney Creek in Pasadena, then later moved full time to Severna Park. They instilled in their children a love of sailing and of the Chesapeake Bay.
After her husband’s death in 1980, Fran moved to Annapolis, where she resided until her death. She spent many years volunteering with the Hospital Auxiliary at Anne Arundel County Medical Center, and served as the treasurer of the flower service there. Fran had a lifelong love of books, and read four or five books a week, even at age 91. In later years arthritis forced her to stop producing the beautiful needlepoint pillows that grace the home she shared with her youngest son and his wife.
She is survived by her sons Jeffrey Page (Angela) of Annapolis, Stephen Page (Carol) of Baltimore, and Kenneth Page (Lynne) of St. Leonard; her daughter Christine Barnes (Bruce) of Highland CA; grandson Dylan Page of Oklahoma City OK; and sister Lee Russo of Green Valley AZ.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no funeral services.
