Frances Crawford's Obituary
Frances Evelyn Hayes Crawford was born on January 21, 1943 to the late Edward Hayes and Nancy Harris.
Frances was fondly known as “Pud or Tate” by her family and friends. Frances was one of six sisters born in the Skidmore area of Anne Arundel County. She was a graduate of the Wiley H. Bates High School and attended Asbury Broadneck United Methodist Church. She was employed at Anne Arundel Medical Center as a nurse assistant until her retirement. Frances enjoyed talking to her family and friends, especially her Uncle Sheldon. Before her illness, Frances loved to travel, going to Bingo, and playing cards. She was also very fond of her nieces and nephews.
Frances leaves to cherish her memory, five sisters: Betty Lee Pearman, Peggy Green, Nancy Ardeanuar Green, of Baltimore, MD, Alma Jean Adams (Roland), and Valeria Hedda Jones (Martin) of Annapolis, MD; two aunts: Alma Johnson and Dorothy Harris; an uncle, Sheldon Harris; a godson, Robert Ezell; devoted friends: Phyllis Murray and Julethia Hill; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends. Frances was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy R. Harris; father, Edward Hayes; and brother Edward Hayes, Sr. (Bo).
