Eugene Harold Styles' Obituary
Eugene “Gene” Styles passed away peacefully in his home on December 30, 2019 with Iva - his wife of 35 years - by his side.
Gene’s life was filled with love, kindness, and endless adventure. His service in the U.S. Navy gave him a passion for the water and traveling that he would hold onto for 83 years.
Whether he was riding his motorcycle to Sturgis, fishing in the Chesapeake Bay, or driving his motorhome anywhere imaginable, he never turned down an opportunity to explore and spend time with the people he loved.
The only thing Gene enjoyed more than traveling and spending time with the people he loved was helping the people he loved. If you needed a handyman, carpenter, mechanic, teacher, artist, electrician, plumber, or just someone to talk to, Gene was always there. He never charged, never complained, and never asked for anything in return. He also never cooked, so if you needed a lot of his time you had better make sure he was fed.
He will be missed greatly, but the wisdom and kindness he spread will always be with us.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
