Hello Everyone,
I wanted to share a "very cherished and wonderful memory" of a "very young Eugene Owen" and his brother, Bobby. Well, here goes . . .
"When I was growing-up (back in Detroit) . . . I couldn't wait to travel East (during summer vacations) to see my two-favorite cousins . . . . Eugene and Bobby Owen !!!!
I loved them both dearly . . . (and), STILL DO !!!!
One lucky summer (I got to stay at Aunt Ruth and Uncle Jack's house) !!! (And), you know what that meant ??? It meant "MORE PLAY TIME" with Eugene and Bobby !!!!
(Anyway), that summer, was the first time I ever visited Washington DC . . . with my two "very excited and knowledgeable escort cousins" !!!! WE WENT EVERYWHERE, and DID EVERYTHING POSSIBLE . . . the Smithsonian . . . the White House . . . the Capitol Building, the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the Washington Monument (and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few) !!!! These two young men wanted to show me "everything they knew" about the DC Area !!!! It was CRAZY !!!!
It was the BEST SUMMER VACATION . . . EVER !!!! "Thank you", Eugene and Bobby !!!! I Miss You Both and Will Love You Forever !!!! I Pray that You and Your Family will Rest In Peace . . . until we meet again" !!!!
