Estella Ward's Obituary
Estella Ward departed this life on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Genesis Severna Park Center. Stella, as she was affectionately known to most, was born November 14, 1915 in Low Moor, Virginia to Ester and Walter Fowler. Stella was the only girl with nine boys.
Stella met and married Edward Brown in Elk Hill, Virginia. To this union was born two children. After his death, she came to Annapolis to live with her brother, and met Stafford Ward.
Stella enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, and ceramics. She liked to attend the classes at the Annapolis Senior Center. She was very loveable and liked meeting new people. She greeted everyone with a cheerful smile.
Stella was predeceased by her mother, father, nine brothers, two husbands, and a few close friends.
Stella leaves to mourn her memory, a daughter, Lucille; a son, Edward; a step-son, Jessie; two step-daughters, Phyllis and Winnie; a sister-in-law, Edna; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
