Erlinda Sipagan Sarabia's Obituary
Erlinda (Linda) Sipagan Sarabia was born in Manila in the Philippines on September 21, 1936 to the late Rodrigo Sipagan and Victoria Deleon Sipagan. She graduated from the Philippines Women’s University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Nutrition. She then moved to Toronto, Canada where she met and married Felix Sarabia on Oct 3, 1966 and immigrated to the United States.
Linda is survived by her husband, Felix, daughter, Maribeth Friend, and son-in-law, Larry Friend. She has three grandchildren, Corey (Chloe), Carina, and Felicia, and three great-grandchildren; Landon, Trystan, and Jayden. The oldest of ten siblings, Linda is also survived by four brothers; Jordan, Robert, Amador, and Rodrigo, and two sisters,: Nora and Herminia, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation and rosary will be held Friday, September 28, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Lasting Tributes Cremation & Funeral Care in Annapolis, MD. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 29, 10 AM at St. John Neumann Church in Annapolis, MD. Burial in Bestgate Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Erlinda Sarabia’s name to St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Annapolis, MD, St. Peter Catholic Church, Monument, CO, or Kindred Hospice, Colorado Springs, CO.
