Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Wise's Obituary
Elisabeth Jane Wise known as Betty or Momma. She was the kind of woman you don’t come across every day—tough as nails but soft where it counted. A true salt-of-the-earth soul, she found her happiest moments out in nature, whether she was hunting in the woods, casting a line in the water, or crabbing with her grandkids. And if you ever went fishing with her, you know she didn’t just throw any old lure in the water—she had a knack for knowing exactly which color would land the fish. A few people managed to hook her over the years, but not many reeled her in for good.
She leaves behind her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and many friends with a lifetime of love, wisdom, and stories that will be told for years to come. Her presence filled every room with warmth, and while her absence will be deeply felt, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
