Rick & Family; So sorry about the loss of your mother. You talked a lot about her in our classes together but I learned so much more in her obit in the Capital. I can see where you got your artistic talents in ceramics! It was wonderful that you were able to work with her during your career. I have one of your mother's small ceramic pieces which I will treasure. Your mom had a long and wonderful life. My best to you and your family.

I remember Elizabeth and Richard Malmgren fondly attending my class at the Graduate Institute of St. John's College and I wish to send my most sincere condolences to their Family, and especially to their son, Rick, who was also a very fine assistant to the class.
I was very sorry to hear of her passing.

I remember Ebby Malmgren very well. We have one of her pottery pieces in our home. Ebby and I were in several seminars together, we both attended the St. John's College Graduate Institute, and each received an MA degree in liberal education.
I also remember her husband Dick. We had them over for dinner at our house in Annapolis. Our lives were joined for a while via St. John's College and the Mitchell Gallery. They are well remembered.
