Elizabeth "Betty" Frances Tillack's Obituary
Elizabeth “Betty” Frances Tillack, 89 of Annapolis, MD passed away on August 23, 2021. Betty was born on June 10, 1932 to the late Carl and Gertrude Basil and raised in Annapolis, MD.
Whether you knew her as Mom, Mom 2, GiGi, Grandma, or Betty, she loved spending time with her friends and family. Betty was well known around Annapolis as always being on the go, even in her later years. Betty touched so many people’s lives during her lifetime, from Las Vegas to New Mexico to her hometown of Annapolis. Betty’s caring nature, good-heart, and great sense of humor (some of which may be considered inappropriate), brought joy to everyone’s life, from new acquaintances to her life-long friends. Betty was an active member at the Eastport United Methodist Church where she spent many hours helping her community in the service of God.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond in 1985. She is survived by her sons John “Mike” Pruett and David Scott Pruett Sr, two grandchildren, Rachael Camp (husband Joe), David Scott Pruett Jr. and one great grandchild, Wesley Camp, as well as her stepchildren, Linda Shaminski, Mike Tillack, Randy Tillack, step-grandchildren, Katie and Samantha.
Family and friends are invited to attend Betty’s memorial service on Saturday, September 11, 2021 beginning at 10 A.M. at Eastport United Methodist Church, 926 Bay Ridge Ave., Annapolis, MD. to be immediately followed by a celebration of life gathering at Lasting Tributes, 814 Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD. Betty’s interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Betty’s memory to Eastport Untied Methodist Church.
