I am sad to hear about the loss of Dr Taylor. I thank God for him. As a returning student he set me on a path to graduate in 1995, me having 69 credits acquired during my original time at Coppin from 1978-1983. I returned in 1991, under the guidance of Dr Taylor, I blazed through while working a a full time correctional employee. Dr Taylor was my Social Science department head, and I’m am so grateful for him. God bless his family and again, you have my deepest condolences 🙏🏽💯❤️💐
I am John Hudgins, faculty member at Coppin State University. Dr. Taylor was my closest and dearest colleague,. We serve together as the two sociologists in the Department of Applied Social and political Science. As our doors were adjacent we often share our concerns regarding the discipline, the universities and our families. He was truly a mentor and a friend, brothers on a journey.
