Earl Edward Adams' Obituary
Earl Edward Adams, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, coach, and community leader, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 9, 1944, in Camden, New Jersey, and lived a life defined by love, service, and dedication to others.
On December 12, 1964, Earl married the love of his life, Marsha Lynn Adams, with whom he shared more than fifty-seven wonderful years of marriage filled with laughter, partnership, and unwavering devotion. Lynn preceded him in death in June 2022, and now they are reunited in eternal peace. Together they raised three wonderful children — William Adams (wife Kelly Adams), Robert Adams (wife Laura Lathan), and Heather Adams — who were his greatest pride and joy.
Earl spent many years coaching football, inspiring countless young athletes with his encouragement, experience, and deep love for the game. He was also an active and devoted member of the Lions Club, where he dedicated his time and energy to helping others and giving back to his community.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Earl loved fishing, football, and everything Orioles and Ravens. Whether on the sidelines, by the water, or cheering on his favorite teams, his enthusiasm and dedication were infectious.
Earl’s life was a testament to integrity, loyalty, and kindness — a man whose steady presence and generous spirit left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
A memorial service celebrating Earl’s life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Lasting Tributes Cremation & Funeral Care, 814 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD 21401. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the remarkable life of a man who meant so much to so many.
