He loved such a wide variety of music. Dylon took violin lesson but it never caught on, he just enjoyed spinning the music. He loved swimming and the beach, every chance he got he would go the beach and skim or boogie board.
Everyone who met Dylon loved him from the first impression. His beautiful brown eyes and long lashes, his quirky grin and big smile touched the hearts of many. He was a very kind hearted person. He had a deep sincerity for the underdog even as young as elementary school. He had a crazy sense of humor. He loved to meet new people and truly listened to what they had to say, he always took a great interest in others. He would give to you before himself. He really loved babies and small children; he was very good and nurturing with them. He had a fond love of animals and enjoyed our pet cat; he cuddled with them every night as he would go to sleep.
In 2004, after Dylon’s disease was diagnosed with needing a liver transplant he and Dayna moved to Jacksonville Florida to the transplant program at the Mayo Clinic. While there he went to Bartram Trail HS and Jacksonville Community College. As the disease was progressive getting worse during those two years he managed to graduate HS and start college. He lived life to the fullest. He met several special friends and families where he developed lifelong a friendships with. In February 2006, he got his liver transplant at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Florida.
In September 2007 he moved to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area he got an apartment of his own, he enrolled into the local community college and began courses towards a degree. He worked as a bartender and at an exotic car shop, one of his many passions. In the summer of 2010 his disease reoccurred and rapidly progressed taking his health into a downward spiral. Because of the progression of the illness he was no longer able to work or attend college. He began a long tough battle in a fight for his life.
In March of 2011, Dylon returned back to Dayna’s care and support. He began aggressive treatment at Georgetown University Hospital; he was being treated with the best medical care available. During this time Dylon shared many of his dreams, passions and wishes for the future. He was at peace to be back at home with Dayna, he felt safety and comfort with her as Dayna raised him since the age of three. In his final moments he was surrounded with love and his close family. He is at peace and suffers no longer. He has shed the pain and struggles he has carried all these years. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as our memories of him will be forever with us.
