Dwayne Adkins' Obituary
Dwayne Adkins, 47, of Stevensville, MD died at AAMC on April 29, 2014 after a brief battle with cancer.
Dwayne was born in Wilmington, Delaware on June 22, 1966 to Ruth Jane Vandemark. He attended Wesley College where he played lacrosse.
Dwayne was a beloved member of community. He took pride in working in multiple facets of the restaurant industry. He enjoyed woodworking, lacrosse, fishing, and hunting. His enormous personality and kindness will be missed by all.
Dwayne is survived by his daughter, Mary J. Adkins of Dover, Delaware, his sister Susan Jane Layton and his stepfather Edgar V. Adkins Jr. of Milton, Delaware, aunts and uncles Charlotte & James Bastian of Lewes, Delaware and Karin & Jim Adkins of Harbeson, Delaware.
A private service will be held with his closest family and friends and a celebration of life will be held at Big Bats Restaurant, Stevensville, MD in May for all to attend.
