Donna Patrice Simmons' Obituary
Donna Patrice Simmons entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 11, 2018 with heavenly angels accompanying her. She peacefully departed this life to take her life’s reward and rest in glory. Donna was born on December 24, 1963, in Annapolis, MD to Joyce Ann Hall and Calvin J. Simmons. She attended Anne Arundel County Public School system where she obtained her GED. Donna later found work at Annapolis Nursing and Rehab Center where she was employed for 15 years. She then went on to work for Arundel Middle School for 10 years. Donna recently obtained her associates degree in medical billing and was then employed by Langton Green. Donna was a beautiful soul whom all adored. She was definitely the life of every party and NON-party. You could always catch her spoiling children with treats and toys. Although, she is gone, she can never be forgotten. She leaves all of our minds etched with memories of her animated stories, her kind gestures and her readiness for anyone messing with HER babies. Donna leaves to mourn her mother and stepfather Joyce and Stanley Randall (Annapolis, MD), father and stepmother Calvin and Linda Simmons (Anchorage, AK), 1 son Dwane L. Carpenter Jr. (Waldorf, MD), 1 grandson Devin L. Carpenter (Waldorf, MD), 7 siblings Melissa Simmons (Annapolis, MD), Calvin Simmons Jr. (Tampa, FL), Tonya Morris (Fayetteville, NC), Yolanda Ball (District Heights, MD), Leyland Simmons (Brooklynn, NY), Kimberly Johnson (Glen Burnie, MD), and Melissa Clark (Annapolis, MD). Donna is also survived by 7 aunts, 6 uncles, 23 nieces and nephews and 18 great nieces and nephews who all thought the world of her; along with a host of cousins, in-laws and friends.
