Donald N. Smith's Obituary
Donald N. "Don" Smith, 84, of Annapolis, formerly of Arbutus, passed away at home on May 11 surrounded by his family.
He attended Catonsville High School, and upon graduating served in the National Guard. He retired in 1997 and traveled extensively with his wife Bernice.
Don's hobby was his love of the water and crabbing in the Chesapeake Bay. Don was a loving family man to his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bernice; four children, Terry Smith Wilborne, Jimmy Smith, Jeff Smith, and Greg Smith; and five grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Brandon Smith, Andrew Wilborne, Katherine Wilborne, and Meghan Wilborne.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, May 16 at Lasting Tributes Cremation & Funeral Care, 814 Bestgate Road, Annapolis MD 21401. Don's memorial service will begin at 10 am on Thursday, May 17 at Lasting Tributes with interment to follow at Bestgate Memorial Park.
