Dennis F. Cox's Obituary
Dennis Franklin Cox, 65, died Tuesday September 11,2012 in his Severna Park home, after a five month battle with lung cancer. He was surrounded with love by his wife and family.
Born in Hartford county to Mary and Leonard Cox , he was a graduate of North Hartford High School.
In his earlier years Dennis was employed for English Family restaurants for a number of years, he spent 18 years with Wendy's both as an area manager, and a regional manager. He spent his last 12 years as a store manager with Wawa Food Markets.
He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed playing golf, NASCAR, Football, and Baseball. He also enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach with Family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Deborah Cox of Salisbury, Md. He leaves behind two daughters Michelle Brooks of Mondovi,Wi., and Heather Ignaczak of Arnold, Md.; three sons Jason Cox of Severna Park, MD., Justin M Cox of Severna Park, Md. and Jarrod C. Cox of Arnold, MD; one brother Richard Stephen Cox of Bel Air, Md.; and one sister Karen Peters of Fawn Grove, PA.
A visitation will be held at Lasting Tributes Cremation & Funeral Care 814 Bestgate Rd. Annapolis, MD on Monday September 17, 2012 between 6pm and 8pm. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday September 18, 2012 at the funeral home with a one hour prior visitation.
