Delano C. Green's Obituary
Delano Coswell Green, 54, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, departed this life on May 8, 2017 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, Glen Burnie, Maryland. He was born August 13, 1962 to John Green and the late Sarah O. Green.
Delano affectionately known as “Greenie,“ He married his high school sweetheart Rochelle Simms Green and out of this union they had two sons; Marco and Marlon. Delano graduated from Annapolis Senior High School in 1980. He was employed with the Anne Arundel County Public School system.
Delano was a believer and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He was well known and was truly loved by family and friends. He was kind and had a great personality. He had a passion for cars and trucks, enjoyed R&B music and a sharp dresser. Delano will be missed by all who knew his humorous and witty spirit and will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Sylvester Wayne Johnson and Jeffrey Macreath Green.
Delano leaves to cherish his memory two sons; Marco Green and Marlon Green; three granddaughters, Lae’lonnie, London, and Lauren Green; two grandsons, Amari and Damitrin Green. Delano is survived by his father, John W. Green; five sisters, Velma Williams, Phyllis Collins, Arcellious Butler (James), Toleda Green, and Rhonda Dobbs (Michael); five brothers, Jerome Johnson (Joyce), Dennis Green (Regena), Orlandis Green, Emmett Green, and Marty Green; sister-in-law, Barbara Johnson; one aunt; Thelma Green; and a host cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
