David Leroy Snyder's Obituary
David Leroy Snyder, 60, of Glen Burnie, Maryland passed away unexpectedly on May 23rd, 2024.
David was born to Leroy and Viola Snyder on October 1st, 1963 in Cheverly, Maryland. He was the youngest of four children. He had an older sister, Leola and two older brothers, Bradley and William. Dave graduated from Bladensburg High School and went straight into his first career as a barber. He later switched careers to working in HVAC where he stayed for 36 years working his way up in the company, and learned his passion for designing duct systems. Dave was a very dedicated and hard working man, and was valued by his coworkers and long time customers.
Dave had many hobbies he enjoyed. His perfect day would not be complete without a motorcycle ride on some back roads with good weather. He loved listening to music and could tell you anything about his favorite artists and bands. He also loved sports. He played street hockey, golfed and played pick up games of various other sports. He loved to watch football, ice hockey and basketball and was a dedicated Washington D.C. fan to all sports.
He is survived by his children; son, Alexander Lynlee Snyder and daughter, Victoria Lorraine Snyder, mother of his children; Janet L. Snyder, Partner; Colleen M. Daves, Sister; Leola Grace Snyder, and Brother; Bradley Alan Snyder. Preceding him in peace were his parents, Leroy and Viola, and his older brother William Albert Snyder.
A celebration of life will be held in October. Please check Dave Snyder’s memorial page on Facebook for more information.
