Daniel P. Wijangco Jr.'s Obituary
Daniel Panlilio Wijangco,Jr., 80 years old, died on August 21, 2012 at Future Care Chesapeake Health Care Facility in Arnold, Maryland.
He was born on April 28, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland to Daniel Panlilio Wijangco and Mabel Beatrice Ving. He married Leslie Ruth Barraclough on June 14, 1958 in Worcester, Massachusetts.
He is survived by their two children, Dale Angela Packard and William Wijangco. He is also survived by Joan Lee Krummeck Smith. They were married on February 18, 1977 in Towson, Maryland.
Other survivors are his brother, Felix V. Wijangco (Elizabeth) and his nieces, Mary Leisenring and Danielle Facella and a great niece. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Norman T. Vincent, Aaron Vincent, Richard Wijangco, William Wijangco, Daniel Wijangco, Amanda Wijangco, 3 great grandchildren and 2 step children, Mark Smith and Lee Ann Borden. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Edith Gooch and his parents.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and he served in the US Navy for 8 years. He enjoyed working crossword puzzles and singing in the choir at the Central Presbyterian Church in Towson.
Viewings will be from 7-9 on August 31 at Lasting Tributes Funeral Cremation & Funeral Care, 814 Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD and the funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on September 1 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 1875 Ritchie Hwy.,Annapolis, MD
Interment will be at Druid Ridge Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland.
