Remembering Danny …with love and respect
Danny you have been a loving husband, caring companion and a soul mate for my sister Subhan. Bless you for that.
As a family we watched how a marriage between a Cosa Rican and a Malaysian would turn out to be and Danny has been a wonderful life companion for my sister. Subhan chose the best companion to share her life with.
Over the 26 years of your marriage we have seen you vilgilant over all my sister’s needs.
When I went to your home in the deep winter of 1994 in New Jersey, you were busy clearing the snow, ensuring the safety of Subhan’s car, and making sure she had extra gasoline, food and water.
You had the gift of treating everyone special and making them comfortable. You made a makeshift room for me when I was recuperating from a fracture. You built a pavement when you saw I had difficulty walking over wet grounds in your home in Maryland.
I am eternally grateful to you for your kind deeds. Bless you.
We cherish the happy moments with you in Kuala Lumpur...you were always chatty, friendly and funny! We loved your personalised photo albums after each visit.
Danny, we thank The Almighty for bringing you into our lives.
I treasure your handmade crafted wooden bowls and the tea box you gave me this time a year ago.
May The Almighty bless you and keep you among His loved ones. Ameen
Kader and I and family will always remember you with love and respect as you rest in your final abode peacefully.
We will miss you
With love, Raj
From Abdul Wahid Karim ( Subhan’s brother)
Dear Danny,
You were both a brother-in-law and a dear friend to me, my wife Katrina and my daughter Arianne. We will cherish forever the good times and memories we shared both in Malaysia and the U.S. when we came to visit you and Subhan. We had fun times and laughter, and loved the many stories you told.
Danny, you left behind a legacy of beautiful photos with us that rekindle those memories, and that will never fade away. The beautiful cutting board you hand crafted with love with our names engraved is now a heirloom to be passed on to my daughter and God willing, her children, and we will all say with pride that Danny made this.
We will all miss you, and words cannot say enough, the love and tender care you brought into our lives.
Thank you for being the best companion and husband for my sister for more than 25 years. It’s a long time Danny, maybe not long enough, but that is God’s calling.
Danny, may you rest in eternal peace and God Bless You, my dear friend.

In Memory
Dear Danny
We spoke at length energized by our common interest.
You came to my small home and I was shy to show you my backyard.
I will always appreciate and remember the tool tips and advise that carries me on as a passionate hobby.
We both were crazy about CNCs and I have lost my one and only sparring partner.
I will treasure the tool magazines u sent me and keep it as a reminder of u.
You took great care of my Aunt Subhan and gave her companionship.
May you rest now and return to your Lord, waiting for the day to enter the everlasting garden and abode of peace.
May the angels escort you and may the prophets of old be your guides.
Love,
Shahzad
