Damien "Drago" Angelo Day, 48, of Glen Burnie, MD USA, passed away on May 14, 2023, in Glen Burnie, MD, USA. He was born on January 14, 1975, in Baltimore, MD, USA.
Damien was known for his funny, loving, caring, and kind-hearted personality. He had a talent for storytelling and could be the life of the party. He also had a bit of an unruly side and was not one to hold back his opinions. Damien loved to eat and had a particular fondness for hanging out with his family and friends, especially a very special friend by the name of Dollie.
Damien attended Annapolis Senior High. He went on to have a varied career, working at the Maryland Inn, UPS, Fuddruckers, and even in trash collection. In his free time, Damien enjoyed watching movies, listening to music on YouTube, playing chess and spending time with 20 fam.
He is survived by two daughters, Dakera Day & Deasia Day; parents, Pamela Green & Dennis Day; grandfather, Bernard Day; brother, Stephan Day(Jasmin); sisters, NaSheka Day-Hunter(Richard), Selena Powell-Anderson(Floyd); nieces, Dylan Day, Samia Day, Ariel Anderson; nephews, Owen Day, Nyah’Cari Branford, Aaron Anderson; great aunt, Pauline Watkins-Proctor(James); aunts, Eleanora Armstead, Patricia Savoy, Renee Day, Pamela Day-Edwards, Hilda Hill, Lorraine Day, and Katrina Green; uncles. John Green, Willis Day, Herman Day, Bernard Day Jr, John Somerville, Purnell Jones, Phil Hill, Phillip Queen; and a host of beloved cousins.
Damien is preceded in death by grandmothers, Sarah Green, Hilda Scott; grandfather, Joseph Green; nephew, Ny’Shun Cauley; aunts, Cynthia Green, Rosemary Queen; uncles, Georgia Green, Robert Green, Albert Green, Arthur Jones, Robert Day; and many other beloved friends.
A wake for Damien will be held on May 23, 2023 from 10AM-11AM, followed by a service at 11AM at Lasting Tributes, located at 814 Bestgate Rd in Annapolis, MD 21401.
