Corey Che Diggs' Obituary
Corey Che Diggs 53, of Annapolis, departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest on December 5, 2022.
Corey always greeted you with a big smile, a warm hug and a funny joke. He had a wonderful sense of humor. His jokes would leave you in stitches.
He was an avid cyclist and walker who enjoyed nature and bird watching but music was his first love. He enjoyed all genres of music and listened to it daily. He enjoyed tinkering with cars and had an eclectic collection of music and books. He kept abreast of current events and would be the first to inform you of what’s happening locally and around the world. He loved his family and appreciated the simple things in life.
Corey worked several jobs in the construction industry and retail. He was happiest when he was helping people.
We will miss his warm heart, infectious laugh and his presence at family celebrations. He was loved by many and words cannot describe how greatly he will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his mother Anne Brooks - Heiland, his father Harvey Diggs Jr. and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his four brothers, Barry Brooks, Antonious Diggs, Tobey Diggs and Ted Diggs, six sisters, Michele Brooks, JoAnne Brooks - Kirkland (Timothy), Carol Brooks, Angela Diggs, April Diggs and Morgan (Kimberly) Diggs, aunts, Viola Queen and Dorothy Roland, uncles, Paul Pitts Jr., Charles Gantt, Joseph Sellman and Harold Little, former sister-in-law Maria Brooks and a very devoted brother-in-law Timothy Kirkland Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
