I was so shocked and saddened when I saw the news of Colin's death. Despite the last name being mispronounced on the news, I knew who it was. I remember Colin as a sweet, kind and gentle first grader. From what I have read, he was the same as a young man. I am praying for the family as you go through this trial. God is faithful and will see you through.

Mr. & Mrs. Brought, so sorry for your loss. It's never easy to deal with the loss of a loved no matter what the age. Our Heavenly Father assures us in His word that He cares for each of one of us. May you experience His loving care moving through this time of bereavement.
We were very impressed with Colin during the 2 weeks we spent with him in Cabo this summer.
He was a happy and outgoing person and I will treasure the time that we all spent together and remember all the good times and fun he kept reminding us he had!
He wanted to come back with us next year and when we go, we will have a toast in his honor.
I am glad that Garrett and Colin had forged the friendship they had and I am also glad that I had the opportunity to meet and spend time with him. The world lost a great guy.

My heart goes out to your family. Our daughter Hannah lived with Colin, Nick and Mike this summer. Colin was the sweetest boy. Always with a smile on his face. I feel so lucky to have had just a little bit of Colin in my life. Anyone that had the chance to meet him was touched by his happiness. May we all live like Colin.

Dear Doug and Claudia, my son Mac played lacrosse with Colin at Arden Rec. We are both so immensely saddened by this senseless loss. I remember his infectious smile and energetic personality. Of course we both remember his amazing skills on the lacrosse field. Even at that young age, he stood out as someone special.
