Clarence Jerome Forrester's Obituary
CLARENCE JEROME FORRESTER, SR., 62, of Annapolis entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Heritage Harbor Rehabilitation. Clarence was born on July 6, 1953 in Anne Arundel County Maryland. He was the son of the late Clarence H. Forrester, Sr. and Betty E. Green.
On April 27, 1979, Clarence was united in holy matrimony to Linda Dorsey. Five children were born to this union.
Clarence, affectionately known as “Rock” and “Pop-Pop”, received his education in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools System. He also attended Morgan State University, Bowie State University, and Fleet Business School. Rock was employed at Ft. George Meade and various exterminating companies. He was also employed at Fisher Auto Parts until his retirement in 2015.
Rock was a sports enthusiast, particularly football and baseball. He was an avid birds fan, the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. He loved working in the garden and barbequing with family and friends.
Rock was preceded in death by his stepfather Clifton Green; father- in-law, John B. Dorsey; brother, Thomas Hawkins; two beloved daughters, Shavon C. Henson and Nicole N. Forrester.
Rock leaves to cherish his memory, his lovely, devoted wife, Linda of 36 years; daughter, Tershia Trammel (Robert); sons, Clarance J. Forrester, Jr. and James R. Forrester; sisters, Angela Hawkins, Doreathia Parker, Karen Sellman, and Deneen Taylor (George); brothers, Floyd Forrester, Darrell Green, Charles C. Johnson, and Clarance H. Forrester, Jr.; Aunt, Lydia Graves; ten grandchildren; mother-in-law, Jean V. Dorsey; sister-in-laws, Diane Wright (William), Regina Dorsey, and Peggy Jones (Perrie); brother-in-law, John P. Dorsey (Tia); son-in-law, Michael Henson; special friends Rudolph Foote and William Dyson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Memorial service will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30th at Truxton Park in Annapolis.
