Clara "Kaye" Cox Rousos' Obituary
Clara "Kaye" Cox Rousos, 82, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at the Hospice of the Chesapeake in Pasadena, MD after a brief illness. Kaye grew up in Canton, OH, where she graduated from St. Joseph's Elementary School and Timken High School before attending Kent State University. She spent most of her adult life in Pittsburgh as a stay at home mom before working as an office manager for several companies in Pittsburgh and Canton.
She was preceded in death by her parents George Richard Cox and Frances Catherine Fleer and her husband Daniel T. Rousos. She is survived by four children: Gayle Armstrong Blizzard of Annapolis, MD; Kathy (Dale) Stalnaker of Hurricane, WV; Jeff (Pam) Armstrong of Tualatin, OR; and Jayne Armstrong of West Des Moines, IA; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Cremation and burial services are being provided by Lasting Tributes Cremation and Funeral Care in Annapolis, MD and Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home in Zanesville, OH. A private burial service will be held later this spring in Zanesville, OH.
