Christopher Lynn Boruff, 42, passed away suddenly on September 27, 2024, in Annapolis, Maryland. Born on February 28, 1982, in West Palm Beach, Florida,
Christopher was a cherished son, brother, partner and friend; known for his generosity, love of music, his dog Lily, cat Mufassa, the Florida Gators, and his vibrant spirit.
Christopher attended St. Marks Episcopal School where his mother Martha was a teacher, and Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Lettering in swimming in high school, Christopher was always the first one in the water. He then went on to
earn his degree in Food and Resource Economics at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
A true free spirit, he embraced a career that allowed him flexibility and independence, ultimately finding his niche as a courier. He was a loyal fan of Florida Football, was actively involved in the local Reggae Music scene, and cherished his moments spent traveling with his loving partner of 15 years, Katie Jacobs and their beloved pets. His loyalty and passion extended to all areas of his life, especially in support of his favorite sports, music, and his summer vacations to Michigan with Katie. Christopher is survived by his father, Stephen Lynn Boruff, his brother James, his partner Katie Jacobs, his stepmother Mary Beth Boruff and his stepsister Katie Madyun. He was predeceased by his loving mother, Martha Boruff, and his maternal grandparents George and Margaret Freeman. He is also survived by his extended family, including many cousins from the Boruff, Freeman and Bonkemeyer families, who will remember his loving and joyful presence. A memorial service is scheduled for October 19th, 3pm at Lasting Tributes Funeral Care, 814 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, Maryland. A Memorial in Florida will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Christophers name to the American Heart Association or consider planting of a tree in memory of him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
