Hello,
I met Christina when she visited my grandparents Carl and Macon Sorling with her parents when I was a young child. I remember her kindness and joy being with family. My grandparents Carl and Macon Sorling often had family visits and included us as we lived nearby and spent many holidays and dinners together. Sometimes Carl and Macon talked proudly of Shiela and George DIetz and the important job that George had. They introduced me and my mom and others present to Christina and Shiela and George. The last time I saw Christina she was with her parents at Grandfather Carl’s home on Illini Road. I last saw George Dietz at my grandmother Macon’s funeral in Springfield. He was very kind and mentioned my grandmother was particularly proud of me attending UC Berkeley university. I have been living and working in California since the mid 80’s. I have some old family photos to share if you want to consider contacting me in an email. I’m sorry to hear that Christina has passed. My condolences.
