I am so sorry to learn of Christina's passing almost six years ago. I knew her - and her wonderful curly hair in the early 1970s through her sister, Mary Caroline Dietz. I am so sorry I have just been informed That Cristina is not longer with us. We all know she is a better and wonderful World, but she will be missed always with her beautiful emule. My Condolences to her family and friends
P.S. I have donated funds to the Soi Dog Foundation in Christina's name. This is an organization that is attempting to eliminate the illegal dog meat trade in Asia and she and I had many conversations about the unutterable cruelty that these dogs suffer. She and I were of like mind on animal cruelty and on our love and passion for horses, dogs, cats and every other creature on earth without a voice.
I have known Chris since I was 15, in boarding school in Switzerland (approx. 45 years ago) and as a treasured online buddy in the past 7-8 years. Reconnecting with her was the most profoundly happy moment because she was always someone that I loved dearly. She was fun, funny and always upbeat, despite any circumstance. I just found out about her death a few days ago and it has thrown me completely off kilter. Even though I didn't talk to her every day, I always just knew she was there, so losing her has rocked my world. The past few days have been filled with heavy sadness. My memories of Switzerland seem to all include her in one way or another. She is forever tied to an important part of my life and by being so, she has enriched it. I will miss her so much.
