Charles Earl Shue's Obituary
Charles "Charlie or Chuck" Shue succumbed to the effects of Parkinson disease on March 23, 2025 at the age of 82.
He was born to the late Wilmer and Kitty Shue. After graduating from Annapolis High School, he went to Frostburg College. After schooling, he found his passion of becoming a Maryland State Trooper and served with them for 31 years. While his family was important to him, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and crabbing for many years. He also enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife Joyce and two children: Marty (Scott) Broerman and Chris McCallister; seven grandchildren: Annalise Broerman, Karoline Broerman, Benjamin Broerman, Charlie Broerman, Anna McCallister, Lily McCallister, and Kate McCallister.
According to his wishes he was cremated. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 7 at Lasting Tributes, 814 Bestgate Rd., Annapolis MD 21401 beginning at 11 am. Following the ceremony, guests may visit until 1 pm. The service will be livestreamed for anyone who is unable to attend. The link may be found on Chuck's obituary page on the funeral home website.
