Charles E. Butler, Jr.'s Obituary
Charles Edward Butler, Jr. was born on March 5, 1958 to Charles Edward Butler, Sr. (Charlie)and Edith Sellman-Butler. Charles was affectionately known to family and friends as "Petey". On July, 12, 2016 Charles rededicated his life to Christ, with his family at his side. Charles was called home to be with the Lord on July 18, 2016.
Charles was educated in Anne Arundel Public Schools, Annapolis Md. Charles enjoyed spending time with his family and had a calling on his life to minister the Gospel through singing and playing the bass guitar with his family.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Butler, Sr. (Charlie) and his sister, Angela Butler-Douglas. Charles leaves to cherish his memory; his loving and most dedicated mother, Edith Sellman-Butler (Annapolis, MD); 3 beautiful daughters, Yarnell Butler (Annapolis, MD) Shaquita Butler-Taylor (Columbia, MD) and Sonya Butler (Annapolis, MD). Six grandchildren, Amiya Taylor, Makayla Butler, Nyonjae Spriggs, Amarien Spriggs, Darin Taylor & Kaniya Jackson. Three sisters, Charlotte Butler-Blake (Annapolis, MD) Eugenia Butler and Sandra Butler-Gilmer (Glen Burnie, MD), Five brothers, Samuel A. Butler (Annapolis, MD), Gary A Butler, Sr. (Severn, MD), Reginald A. Butler, Sr. (Annapolis, MD), Samuel Lamont Butler, Sr. (Virginia Beach, VA) Charles E. Butler III (Glen Burnie, MD), and (10) nieces, (12) nephews, (12) great nieces and (13) great nephews.
Aunts & Uncles; Arthur Sellman (Rosie), James Butler Sr. (Shirely) Shirley Green, Lewis Butler Sr (Ann) all of Annapolis; Ruth Curtis (Philadelphia, PA), Winfred Butler (Odenton, MD), Frank Butler, Sr. (Edgewater, MD), a host of cousins and friends. Devoted friend, Leonard (Poppa Daddy) White and niece Monica Butler, for her unselfishness love and care for her uncle.
