Charles "Charlie" Brown's Obituary
Charles William Brown, Sr. was born February 27, 1937 and departed this life on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
Charles was educated in the Anne Arundel County Public School System. He was employed by the State Highway Administration of Maryland, Super Creek, and he did masonry and concrete work for a variety of concrete businesses.
Charles, known to some as Charlie Brown, was an avid hunter and enjoyed caring for his beagles. He competed in and won several rifle contests on Collinson Field. He also enjoyed family time; especially cookouts with his brother, John Brown and his sister, Gladys Randall.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Brown and Gladys Brown; brothers, William James Brown and Frank Brown; sister, Marie Sellman; grandson, Charles William Brown, III; and his wife, Maude Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted life partner of 43 years, Clara Darlene Randall; his children, Pearlene Siscoe (Earl), Charles Brown, Jr. (Melissa), Joseph Brown, Sr.; three stepchildren, Delores Collins, Jeanine Butler, and D. Sandy Graves; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys Randall and Nancy Johnson; two brothers, John Brown (Nora) and Raymond Brown (Barbara); a devoted friend, Lawrence Tasker, Sr.; and a host of relatives and friends.
