With heartfelt sympathy, we offer our condolences to Catherine's family and friends. Catherine and our mother, Helen Darden, shared a lovely friendship. This friendship grew from days past of working together at North Forestville Elementary. Mother's respect of Catherine as a fine teacher, one sought out by parents because of her dedication, expert teaching skills, and love of children, was expressed to us. Years later, having retired and living close to each other in Annapolis, and having lost their spouses, Catherine and Mother's time together was important and thus, weekly. Every missed dinner at Three Brother's was promptly rescheduled. Catherine was so faithful, always concerned and visible during Mother's difficult time and death. We feel blessed and thankful that Catherine was in our lives, through Mother, and mourn her passing.
