Catherine Laboure Brown's Obituary
On Tuesday, May 31, 2011, Catherine went home with the angels. She was predeceased by her spouse Scott J. Brown, grandson, Adam Martinez, and son-in-law, Lester Barkon. She is survived by daughters: Bernadette A. Smith and her husband, Harold, Catherine E. Lingo, Paula M. Barkon and Beth L. Braverman and her husband, Warren. She has five grandchildren: Michael Martinez and his wife, Stacy, Scott Lingo, Amanda and Sara Harrington and Jessie Braverman. She has five great grandchildren: Caitlin, Candace, Jazmine, Kayli and Caden.
She was a graduate of Mount Saint Agnes High School, class of 1952. She is one of thirteen children born to Hugh and Helen Cross. She is also survived by one brother, Raymond Cross, three sisters: Helen Starr, Marylou Wilreker and Margaret (Peggy) Gilroy and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 10:30 am at Saint John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N Bestgate Road, Annapolis, Maryland 21401.
All visitors will be welcomed at the family home after the service at 264 Ridgecross Court, Arnold, Maryland 21012. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to:
