I was asked to sing the song CARRYING NELSON HOME at Caryl's memorial service which I didn't know even existed until Janie Meneely asked me to sing it. Jackie Waymire and I quickly worked up a version based on the singing of John Roberts [ https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=X4gv8RlDkIk ]. To our relief and great surprise the song was well received and I promised myself I'd add it to my repertoire.
Well...I finally did it and sang it in public the first time on 3 April 2016 at the Frank Harte Memorial Singers Circle. Thanks, Caryl.
