sitting sipping tea, letting the wind dance on my face, reflecting on the 10,000 things i would do differently if i could. the least painful of my regrets is not having read this poem at my mother's service. my mother loved autumn, an at-long-last reprieve from the heat and high fire of summer.

Rick, I am deeply sorry for the loss of your mom, your rock. I pray that you will find strength from her spirit and her memory. She will be on your shoulder encouraging you to follow your dreams and to continue to see joy in the simplest of things. Be gentle with yourself and know that we are all praying for you and your family through this time.
I loved her so much, and she loved me. I will never forget how she took care of my family, and made them feel welcome. Her heart was warm and big, her laugh loud and her eyes smiling. I will always love and miss her. My deepest condolences to her husband and children
