Carl Anthony Tongue Jr.'s Obituary
Carl Anthony Tongue, Jr., lovingly known as “Franks,” passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 43. Born on December 25, 1982, in Annapolis, Maryland, Carl lived a life defined by quiet strength, loyalty, and love for his family.
Carl attended Southern High School and later found his path on the open road. After earning his Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), he became a long-haul truck driver, traveling across the country. He took pride in his work and embraced the responsibility and independence that came with life on the road.
Those who knew Carl knew he was quiet, protective, and deeply caring. He didn’t need many words to show his love; he showed it through presence, consistency, and loyalty. While Carl had no children, he shared a special bond with his Aunt Linda, who loved him as her own son. Their relationship was filled with love, trust, and a deep connection that meant the world to him.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Anthony Tongue, Sr. (2015) and Kathy Ann Randall (2021); his aunt, Sylvia Randall (2020); and his uncle, Dr. Michael Tongue (2024).
He is survived by his two loving siblings, Jamie Tongue and Sara Tongue, who will forever cherish his memory. He is also survived by his aunts, Linda Randall, Sandra Randall, and Shirley Johnson, Peggy Sidibet and Mabel Davis; his uncles, Clarence Randall, Clinton Tongue, Jr. (Barbara), and Donald Tyrone Tongue (Sheila); and his niece, Aleena Tongue-Aniq, along with many loving cousins Crystal Randall, Cathy Randall, Michael Parker, Terrance Parker, Christopher Randall, Lavonne Tongue, Tameka Tongue, Stacy Tongue, Russell Tongue, Jr., and Kadrae Tongue, along with many loving relatives, and friends.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Lasting Tributes Funeral Home in Annapolis, Maryland.
Carl will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit, his presence, and the love he gave will live on forever. He will never be forgotten.
