Carl Conrad Peterson's Obituary
Carl Conrad Peterson, Jr. died peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at home in Hollywood, MD at the age of 89.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Hobby in the Pacific Fleet. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., he spent his adult life living in Maryland with his family. He wored for Doyle Printing & Offset Co. for nearly 50 years. He was also a retired member, in good standing, with the Graphic Communications International Union (now the Graphics Communications Conference of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters).
He is survived by his children, Howard A. Peterson of Denver, CO, Debra Lee (Peterson) Williamson of Hollywood, MD, his brother David C. Peterson, his seven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Conrad Peterson, Sr. & Jessie Mae (Curtis) Peterson, his wife Leola Lillian (Hughes) Peterson, his brother, Robert A. Peterson, and his sister Joan L. (Peterson) Price.
