It was great sadness that I learned of Carl’s passing. He was a kind, compassionate man. These qualities, of course made him a wonderful United agent. Always willing to go the extra mile for his co workers or customers. RIP dear friend!

JUST ME. Frequently, when Carl sent an email, his subject line would read “JUST ME.”
But he wasn’t Just Me. He was so much more.
He was a loving son, brother, uncle, friend, and sometimes, Hero. He was very proud of his time in the United States Army as an MP and loved his years at BWI with United Air Lines – you could see it in the “skip” in his step as he walked back from the gates. To all the women he knew, he was always a gentleman. His guy friends knew him as a loyal pal whether they were enjoying a tall one at Franks, margaritas at Los Portales, gambling at the casino, or just hanging out. He cherished his friends’ children. He loved to cook, do carpentry, would dance like nobody was watching, had a great sense of humor (wrote wicked funny stuff), and would watch our cats, dogs, and kids when we needed him to.
He judged no one and forgave everyone.
His subject line should have read “ONE IN A MILLION.” THAT would have been more like it.
I want to thank him for being my friend and my Hero and tell him that I love him and will miss him terribly.
