Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of the District of Columbia, with teaching positions throughout the United States and the African continent, including Liberia, Uganda, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. You made history as one of the first African American students to attend the University of Missouri. I will always cherish our walks , trips to the zoo, National mall and Museums. Your love of 60 minutes ,BBC, books and Classical music has been passed down to all your 13 grandchildren. I’m so blessed to have had you for 25 years, thank you for all the trips back to Zimbabwe with Granny , my last words to you were “hi papa it’s Little Sardea. I love you it’s okay now you can go we will be okay”. You looked at me and a few moments later you took your last breath ,your forever be with me, and in my heart.
