Bryan Dennis Simms' Obituary
Bryan Dennis Simms, age 64, of Annapolis, Maryland passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on June 16, 2026 at Luminis Health (Anne Arundel Medical Center). Born on June 15, 1962, in Annapolis, Maryland, to the late Dorothy Simms and the late Benjamin Simms, Sr.
Bryan received his education from Germantown Elementary School, Bates Middle School and Annapolis Senior High School.
As a young man, Bryan worked various jobs at Forest Hills Apartments and St John’s College. He later worked for the Anne Arundel County Library and the Maryland Department of General Services.
Bryan took pride in his work and was known as a very hardworking and dedicated individual. He enjoyed watching his favorite football team, the Washington Commanders, and took pride in caring for his vehicles. Also, he loved listening to gospel and go-go music.
Bryan is survived by his loving siblings; Patricia, Carolyn, Grace, Theodore “Chucky”, Rodney, Rex, and Leonard “Lee” Simms.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Simms; his father, Benjamin Simms, Sr; and his brother Benjamin Simms, Jr.
Also left to cherish his memory are a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and coworkers.
Bryan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
