Bruce C. Simms Jr.'s Obituary
God in his infinite wisdom called to eternal rest our beloved Bruce Clayton Simms, Jr., on April 5, 2026.
Bruce was born on March 19, 1990 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland to Sophia Creek and Bruce Simms, Sr. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his Fiancé Damika Willis. He spent his free time loving and caring for his nieces and nephews.
He was currently employed at Anne Arundel Medical Center and attended Annapolis High School. In his younger years he went to The Rapture Church in Annapolis, Maryland.
Bruce leaves to cherish his four siblings: Terrill Furbush (Brianna), Latiera Brown, Lazinia Smith, Rhashelia Outing. Aunts and Uncles: Faye Duppins (Clarence), Marvin Creek, Darrell Creek (Gina), Stanton Simms, Geronimo Simms (Cynthia), Lorenzo Simms (Michelle), Rachael Contee, Paula Lee, Wendy Simms, Mary Phoenix (Alvin), Mazie Contee (Marvin). He is also cherished in the hearts of numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 10-11 am at Fresh Start Church, 120 N Langley Rd. Glen Burnie, MD 2106 with BJ's Homegoing Service starting at 11 am. Interment will follow at Church of God Cemetery in Lothian.
