Bruce D. Campbell's Obituary
Bruce D. Campbell, resident of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away from complications of a stroke on April 10th, 2025 in Silver Spring, Maryland.
He was born on February 27th, 1958 in Massachusetts to parents Rhoda and Alden Campbell. He spent a good majority of his life in Severna Park, Maryland where he grew a love for the Chesapeake Bay.
In his youth, he achieved a Bachelor's of Science from the University of Maryland which assisted him in establishing his own concrete company, Campbell Concrete Company, from 1982-1993. He thrived in his work in construction and held various construction management positions throughout his life. He worked vigorously to provide for his family until his death. Throughout his life he enjoyed being near the water whether that was boating with his best friend, Todd Ludemann, or long walks along the beach at his home in Myrtle Beach, SC.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alden Campbell. Survived by his daughters: Jessica, Joanna, and Julie, and the mother of his children, Brenda as well as his mother Rhoda Campbell, sister Bonnie Pratt and brother Steve Campbell.
The family is holding a graveside service at Bestgate Memorial Park on the 23rd of April at 10am. All friends and family are welcome to join us in his send off to the other side.
