Brandon Carlo Wemple's Obituary
Brandon Carlo Wemple,27, was born in Annapolis, Maryland on March 25, 1987 to Rae Swann and Bruce Wemple. He transitioned from his earthly pilgrimage to his eternal home on April 11, 2014.
Brandon received his education in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools. In 2010, he obtained his General Educational Development (GED). In 1999, Brandon started his employment career with the Gazette Newspaper. Being the people- person that he was, that was a perfect job for him. In 2000, he was crowned “Salesman of the Year” and won a trip to Disney World. Brandon would go on sales rides and always sold the most subscriptions. In 2001, he hailed as “Carrier of the Year” and won another trip to Disney World, along with a weekend camping trip. Brandon’s customers loved him! When Brandon turned 17, he gained employment with Jiffy Lube of Pasadena and worked there for seven years. Later, he worked for the Jiffy Lube of Severna Park, where he worked for one year. He then was employed for Quality Contractors, Inc., until his untimely passing.
Brandon loved the Lord. As a young child, he joined John Wesley United Methodist Church and was very active in Sunday school, the Children’s Choir, and served as an acolyte. As a teen, he joined the United Methodist Youth Fellowship and started the Young Men 4 Christ Dance Ministry. Brandon participated in the Youth Bible Study and enjoyed challenging conversations about God and the church. Brandon loved sports. He started playing at a young age and continued through his adult life. He played football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and lacrosse. Brandon also loved to watch pro sports and was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan. He enjoyed playing cards. When he learned a card game, you were expected top lay whenever he was present. When he learned to fish, he would often go fishing with his dad, Bruce, and cousin, JR. He had the concept, but not the skill, but that didn’t stop him from wanting to go. And if you went, you were expected to stay until Brandon was ready to go home. As a young child, he was a Webelo in the Cub Scout Troop at John Wesley United Methodist Church in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
Brandon’s contagious smile and loving heart made him special to everyone he met. He was definitely a people person and always looked over the faults of others to see the good in them. He was not a selfish person and was always willing to help whomever was in need. Simply put, Brandon would give you the shirt off of his back.
Brandon was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roy H. Taylor and Lawrence Wemple.
