Bonnie Lee Holland's Obituary
Bonnie Lee Holland (Whitman) of Jessup, Maryland passed away peacefully at her residence on December 21, 2024, after a battle with Congestive Heart Failure. She was 74 years old. Up until the very end, Bonnie maintained her spunky and happy demeanor surrounded by her family and friends.
Bonnie will be remembered as a woman of unwavering love. She was a dedicated wife, a nurturing mother, an adoring grandmother, great-grandmother and a treasured friend to many. Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Bonnie was born March 13th, 1950, in Laurel, MD, to Peggy Kaiser and Cobb Whitman. In 1966, Bonnie married the love of her life, James Holland. A devoted wife for almost 60 years. Together they created a beautiful life together and raised 3 beautiful daughters. Bonnie has 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. They were the world to her. She was the best grandmother anyone could ever have.
Bonnie retired early from the federal government as a payroll manager and continued working in various places for many years. Bonnie loved spending time with her husband, going to bingo, the casino, and traveling around. She also enjoyed spending time with all her family and friends. She especially enjoyed all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren as they brought so much joy to her life.
Bonnie was loved by many and will be greatly missed. There are no services planned per her wishes. However, the family will be having a celebration of life after the holidays. On January 11th at 12pm, The Orchard Beach Community Center at 1000 Hilltop Rd, Orchard Beach MD 21226.
