Bobbie Lou Guidry's Obituary
Mrs. Bobbie Lou (Thomas) Guidry, 59, wishes were to hold no viewing or a funeral; simply to quickly be cremated, allowing friends and family to remember her through their personal interactions prior to her illness.
Mrs. Guidry died at 4:47pm on March 18, 2015 in the National Institute of Health, Bethesda, MD.
Mrs. Guidry was born in Wilson, Oklahoma and moved to Casper, WY in 1957. She graduated from Natrona County High School in Casper, WY. Mrs. Guidry was a Veteran of the United States Navy (May 1978 – May 1982), serving at Recruit Training Command (RTC), Orlando, FL; Naval Technical Training Command (NTTC), Pensacola, FL; Naval Security Group Activity (NSGA), Keflavik, Iceland; and NSGA Sabana Seca, Puerto Rico. She met her husband at NSGA Sabana Seca and was married in Charlotte Amalie, Virgin Islands on March 23, 1982. Mrs. Guidry retired from the United States Federal Service in October 2014. Mrs. Guidry’s Federal Service assignments (1983 – 2014) were in Martinez, CA; Rota, Spain; Camp Pendleton, CA; and Fort George G. Meade, MD.
Mrs. Guidry is survived by her husband, Gregory Guidry; her Son, Buck Guidry of San Diego, CA; her Father, Willie Thomas of Glendo, WY; her brother, Michael Thomas of Daphne, AL; and her Step-mother Patricia Watson of Glendo, WY.
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Margie Thomas.
