Billy Joe Fletcher's Obituary
Billy Joe "Bill" Fletcher, 67, of Annapolis died March 1, 2016 after a lengthy illness. He was born on March 25, 1948 in Long Beach, California. Billy was a graduate of Arundel High School and built a career as a boat mechanic and top notch fiberglass man working 27 years for Holiday Point Marina in Edgewater, MD. Billy was an avid Nascar fan and loved to watch his favorite driver, Jeff Gordon. He loved boating and to waterski, car mechanics and carpentry work. He had a knack of being able to build or fix anything. He is preceded in death by his father, Lee Jay Fletcher. He is survived by his mother, Ruth A. Fletcher; wife, Karolann Fletcher; a son, Andy Fletcher; a daughter Tammy Baldwin (Danny); step children Ryan Hurd (Erin), Emily Hurd, and Caroline Hurley (Rob); a sister Donna Lee Simpson (Bob) and 8 grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 25, 2016 at South Shore Baptist Church, Crownsville, MD from 12:00 to 3:00 pm. Family and Friends are invited to come. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
