Beverly Ann Lewandowski's Obituary
Beverly Lewandowski of Annapolis, Maryland passed away September 25, 2023 of natural causes. She was 72 years old. Bev is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ty Lewandowski, her sister, Ruth James, her son, Chris Lewandowski, her daughter and son in law, Missy Bennett and Mike Bennett and her grandchildren, Dawson Bennett and Elsie Bennett.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Theresa Hickman, mother-in-law Corinne Lewandowski, her brother-in-law, Terry Lewandowski and her grand dogs, Kramer, Roxy and Harvey.
Bev enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren who were proud to call her Nana. She especially loved to watch Dawson play baseball and to read books and play “hair salon” with Elsie.
Throughout her life Bev enjoyed spending time outdoors and appreciating the beauty of nature itself. She was an avid gardener and landscaper who took pride in nurturing her stunning collection of hydrangeas.
One of Bev’s favorite pastimes was taking camping trips with her family where they would hike, crab, bike, explore National and State Parks and tour historic sites.
Bev was known for her homemade Maryland Crab Cakes and Apple Pie. Her beloved recipes will be passed down for generations to come.
Bev will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. The family will be holding a private mountaintop celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to
The V Foundation for Cancer Research or to The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen.
